Work.
It was a bright day, the sun was bee yellow and mom took the car again. Jay dad and I were already a mile away from home but every meter seems like miles so we would stop every hills but that didn't matter, we still had boiled water for all, I know what was I thinking, anyways we were close just that Jay and I always stop for a minute rest. We were about to get to the next building across from us until speeding cars went passed us VOOOOOOOM...VOOM...........VOOM VOOM VOOM.. a moment of silence then again I spoke too soon VOOM VOOM VOOM.. finally the cars went into a itmediate stop
when the stop light turn to a strawberry red color. Our turn to move. Now that we're that much close we just needed 2 long blocks to go. 0 bikes means nobody is crazy enough to bike about 10 miles to the nice shady building. Now that we have cross the intersection we would be just meters away from mom's work.
Speeding cars were zooming with roaring speed, huh all that just because the stop light turned to a bright green color? Oh well what can you expect from people that have cars? VOOMVOOOMVOOM................
VOOOOM....VOOOM..there was a momement of silence......strawberry red again time to move. I needed
water or a popsicle but I kept going keeping my thoughts to myself.W we nt so far that I never notice that we were at mom's work until I blinked. The shade made me feel cold as I passed through the main entrance to park Jay and I's royal blue striped Columbia bikes and dad parked his Trek bike identical to ours. I felt like I was living my life. The main entrance doors slid open and I was happy to be in a place I could play in.

A breezy Friday afternoon and my family decided to go to Coldstones inside Highlands Ranch Square. Dad started the burgendy red car, put the gear shifter in reverse, and the four of us were on the street. Dad took the last right to the square. When dad put it park Jay and I sprinted to the door and almost tripped. When I opened the door a slight breeze went through me and I ignored it and said, “After
you.” Jay replied “Thank you Josh.” in slight weird way. Mom and dad went in and waited in a short line,
very short line. I chose second because there so many flavors I got confused with flavor combos, when it was my turn I chose cotton candy and strawberry, mom of course chose her flavors. Outside was nice and
warm as we finished our ice cream. The taste made my skin feel like I lost my circulation. I didn't notice myself sweating until I was done eating my ice cream. Jay of course asked for more ice cream but dad said 'no.' in a sorry voice, to me he sounded he wanted some too. Afterwords Jay and I sprinted from one end to another. We went home after a few sprints feeling colder every second that past, I fell asleep in minutes. Everything was silent for now.
